Zeus StreamLiner™ series uses the latest advancements in extrusion technology to produce the most versatile and thinnest PTFE catheter liners yet. Available in free-extruded and over-wire configurations, StreamLiner™ series represents a new class of precision liners that open up new pathways for advanced catheter designs.
StreamLiner™ VT and XT
Pairing max wall thicknesses of 0.001” / 0.0254 mm (VT) and 0.00075” / 0.01905 mm (XT) with best-in-class tensile strength, free-extruded StreamLiner™ VT and XT catheter liners enable advanced catheter designs with smaller profiles or larger working channels. From the most in-demand catheter sizes down to the smallest microcatheters, our free-extruded StreamLiner XT and VT sizes deliver.
StreamLiner™ Over-The-Wire (OTW) VT, XT, and UT
StreamLiner™ OTW liners provide the same thin walls and tight tolerances as free-extruded StreamLiner™, but with softer, more flexible mechanical performance enabling next-gen catheter designs to navigate the most tortuous vasculatures. We supply StreamLiner™ OTW VT, XT, and UT in discrete lengths over silver-plated copper (SPC), providing you with a process-ready liner that maximizes efficiency and reduces cost.

Revolutionizing Catheter Design
Catheters made with our StreamLiner™ series of PTFE liners allow for a reduced overall profile with greater lumen potential for finished catheter devices. The greater lumen afforded by StreamLiner’s™ thinner walls results in design options that can reduce deployment force for various intra-lumen catheter technologies or improve flexibility and kink resistance. The higher strength of StreamLiner™ PTFE catheter tubing translates into improved pushability and supports better tractability.
For microcatheter designs, the StreamLiner™ series allows greater access to the smallest vasculatures and most complex anatomies.
Improving Outcomes with Quality
With over 50 years of industry-leading experience in state-of-the-art polymer extrusion development and manufacturing, our customers look to us for greater advancements in catheter design aimed at improving patient care and clinical outcomes.
Quality is at the center of everything we do. With ISO as the basis of our quality system, we insure that products such as the StreamLiner™ series of PTFE liners will not only perform, but provide safety and reliability.
Reduce Delamination With Tie Layer
Zeus Tie Layer can be used to enhance bond strength between StreamLiner™ and the catheter jacket. Better bond strength equals better mechanical properties and performance for the finished catheter.

- APPLICATIONS
Catheter Liners – As ultra-thin-walled liners, StreamLiner™ series is perfect for the creation of both vascular and non-vascular catheters delivering a range of options.
- KEY PROPERTIES
Biocompatible – PTFE has a proven history of use within medical devices. For more information on PTFE’s biocompatibility, contact us today.
Chemical Resistance – PTFE’s fully fluorinated nature renders it inherently unreactive towards almost all commonly encountered chemicals and bodily fluids.
Extremely Thin Walls – The StreamLiner™ series improves our already thinnest-in-class liner size to a new nominal wall thickness as low as 0.0004″ / 0.0102 mm (StreamLiner™ OTW UT).
Low Coefficient of Friction – PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer resin; this trait makes PTFE especially effective for micro-catheter design where lubricity and smoothness of surface are a necessity.
Sterilizable – As a PTFE component, this product is sterilizable by ETO and autoclave (maximum working temperature of 260 °C / 500 °F).
Strength and Flexibility – Our proprietary LoPro™ technology has allowed us to create the thinnest extruded over-the-wire liners yet with superior strength and comparable flexibility to film cast liners.
Tight Tolerances – PTFE Sub-Lite-Wall® StreamLiner™ UT wall thickness tolerance is ± 0.0002″ (0.0051 mm) while XT and VT standard tolerance is ± 0.00025″ (0.00635 mm).
