Thanks to Zeus’ proprietary film-cast process, which helps reduce surface imperfections and pinholes, StreamLiner™ NG catheter liners take flexibility, mechanical performance, and reliability to the next level.
Film-cast PTFE liners are utilized in a wide variety of minimally invasive catheter designs thanks to their desirable mix of ultra-thin walls, lubricity, and flexibility. However, due to the nature of legacy casting processes, traditional film-cast liners are often prone to surface imperfections and pinholes, which can have a serious impact on both device performance and production yields.
By leveraging a new, proprietary film-cast process, Zeus’ StreamLiner™ NG catheter liners are produced with significantly improved consistency when compared to existing film-cast liners, helping to reduce imperfections and pinholes. This consistency, combined with the exceptional sizing and tolerances of existing StreamLiner™ offerings, results in an ultra-thin liner with remarkable flexibility, mechanical performance, and reliability – providing more design freedom for engineers developing next-gen devices that must navigate the most tortuous vasculatures such as those found below-the-knee and above-the-neck.
StreamLiner™ NG liners are available with nominal wall thicknesses from 0.0005″ – 0.00075″ (0.0127 mm – 0.01905 mm) and IDs from 0.017″ – 0.0915″ (0.432 mm – 2.3241 mm). StreamLiner™ NG liners are supplied over silver-plated copper (SPC) and are available in max cut lengths up to 86″ (2184.4 mm).*
* Liners with a Tie Layer have a maximum cut length of 78″ (1981.2 mm).
