Suresh Sainath
General Manager & SVP
Throughout his 15 years in the medical device industry, Suresh has led and co-founded several startups. He co-founded CathX with one goal in mind — to develop top-tier contract design and manufacturing capabilities for medical device companies and OEMs.
Under his leadership, the CathX team has created a single-source solution for catheter design engineering services, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and full or sub-assemblies.
Nitin Matani
VP of Business Development
During his 38-year career, Nitin has worked in large corporations and startups in the medical device industry. He has co-founded several companies, including Tactx Medical. Among his many professional achievements, Nitin has successfully established manufacturing facilities in cost-competitive locations across the globe.
Nitin co-founded CathX Medical and became its Vice President of Business Development.
Jeff Kraus
Director of Engineering
Jeff’s career in the medical device field spans 34 years. He began as an R&D engineer at Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, now Abbott Cardiovascular. He co-founded many successful startups, including Danforth Biomedical. While at Danforth, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted Jeff eight product patents.
Jeff joined forces with Suresh Sainath, Nitin Matani, and Ken Koen to co-found CathX.
Ken Koen
Director of Extrusion Operations
For over 30 years, Ken has focused primarily on the extrusion area of the medical devices industry. He has held various extrusion technician and management roles at CR Bard, ACS, Infinity Extrusions, and Tactx. In 2011, Ken co-founded Advanced Catheter Technology (ACT). After TE acquired ACT, he was promoted to Portfolio Manager, where he led the successful development and growth of its OEM extrusion business.
Ken co-founded CathX and directs the extrusion operation.
